I know two little girls that live with their mom. One is six the youngest is two. Wheres their dad? In prison
The mom lives in pain knowing its going to be longer then anyone could imagine.
The oldest daughter knows where her daddy is at.
Still, she doesnt understand.
But understands enough to cry.
The youngest just sits there confused and wonders when her dad is going to come back.
She knows the 4 months past slowly
But doesnt know how slow the next six years will be.
The mom knows and the dad knows as well when he gets out their youngest isnt going to remember much of him.
Knowing that will add on the pain.
The two little girls have their mom that love them so much and would do anything in the world for them.
Loosing their dad/boyfriend has made them stronger and stronger each and everyday.
When he gets home from that long six years they will be the family they loved.
But maybe, just maybe there will always be something different in that little family.
