Room For One More
A man was asleep and he started to dream. In the dream he heard someone pull up into his driveway, so he got up and looked out of his bedroom window. In his driveway was a hearse. It was packed full of people; all of them looking bored. The driver got out and looked straight at the window the man was at. The driver then spoke in a light voice and said, "There's room for one more." The man refused, and the driver got back in the hearse and drove away. The man woke up in a sweat, but dismissed the dream.
The next day, the man was at a multi-story mall. He was on the second floor going up. The elevator doors opened and it was just about full. A man scooted over and said, "There's room for one more." While he said this he looked at the man intently. The man, remembering his dream, refused to go in. The elevator doors then closed and the elevator plummeted to the ground, killing all inside.
