I Should've Died

All hell had broke loose dad was on the verge of chaos with other packs, and now I knew that things would get ugly.

I was hanging out with Logan and Chloe and we were playing truth and dare,

"Logan truth or dare?"

It was my turn to ask and I had a good idea since I figured out the other night that they were mates. In a way it was no fair, but I was happy for them though Logan was hot as hell. 

"Dare. Please don't make me jump in the lake again I swear on the moon goddess there are mutant alligators in there!"

Chloe and I let out a laugh and we both looked at his drenching wet black hair along with his soaked clothes. I took a moment and I did what every girl would have dreamed to be dared,

"I dare you to kiss Chloe!"

Logan laugh and said in his perverted ways,

"Oh I could do much more than that."

Chloe turned to him and gave him one of her 'Holy.You.Motha.Fucking.Pervert.' Slaps. Logan covered his left cheek with his hand and I heard him whimper. I laughed a moment and he leaned in and kissed her nose and I looked at him frowning,

"I said kiss not lick her face."

He turned to me and smirked and then said with another perverted face,

"You never detailed it enough for me so I did what I could. Your highness."

Oh you just had to add that you little mother- calm calm now I have to do a dare in return.

He looked to me,

"Now my darling it's your payback I dare you to shift in public."

Chloe spoke before I could even mutter a word,

"Are you kidding that's illegal in plain public! Kids still might be scared and you know!"

I sighed and patted her back,

"A dare is a dare. You know what, I have never shifted this is going to be new!"

Logan looked at me and before I tried anything he spoke quickly,

"I take mine back! It's too dangerous for your first shift you could hurt yourself!"

I simply shook my head and he looked down silently cursing himself,

"Alright I'm going to try."

I took a deep breath in and I attempted to focus all my energy and think of a wolf. I heard crackling and my heart raced as I started to see the wolf, but after five minutes I opened my eyes and I was on two legs,

"Did I do it?"

Chloe looked at me,

"Late bloomer?"

I sighed and sat down disappointed and then I realized it was Chloe's turn,

"Truth or dare Chloe."

She smiled and stood up proud,

"Truth!"

She said it happily and her short curly red hair swayed in the wind she was truly a ginger. I spoke quietly,

"Your truth is-"

However, before I spoke another word there was the sound of glass and I turned around to see a small figure lying there the figure full of shards of glass stuck wedged tightly within her.
