Depression is not something you can get rid of, it's like a big black abyss. You try to find your way out but you just can't find the door. Some stay in their rooms for days crying and wondering "will I ever be okay?" When you do feel as though you are getting better, depression has a way of pouncing on you like a lion seeking prey. Depression says look at that blade, pick it up and slice your skin and watch the blood bubble out. Depression tells you no one will care because no one cares about you. Depression tells you to just end your life, and you question "would anyone care?" Depression answers the question for you, "No one gives a shit about you so take that blade and run it across your neck." You stand in front of the mirror with the blade against your neck. You are about to end it all, but something tells you not to, so you find the strength to toss the blade to floor. As the blade clinks against the floor; your knees hit the ground and you cry at the feeling of hopelessness.
