There was a murder in my little town

little over a hour from Detroit

Mother brought me up to the rich oak casket

in it?

Abigaile sweet as if a sugary treat

oh how I bitterly wept

waves of salt water interrupting

the roaring of my mouth

how trival these impish actions were

now sit let me retell this story

as easy as raindrops fall upon us and our neighbors

she met a fine lad

Robert was his name

he enemy to all

stranger to her

oh, this pair surprising to my eyes

so beautifully vile

so dreadfully sincere

naive silly moments

were what took her heart

and made it his

he enemy to all

stranger to her

friends turned lovers

lovers turned enemies

their souls strangers to one another

he so twisted

lost in rage

his lover gone

gone with his heart

the prize taken never was returned

how dare she

she who promises to keep guard

takes an oath to pamper her dear Robert

she shall die

I have sweared it

I choose not to continue

being that children are near

oh how the orchids bloom

so sweet so bright

have died

there they lay with sweet Abigaile

oh how he wished her death a long gruesome phenomenon

oh how he smiles at his work
