People will go
Children will grow
From your womb they will spring
Out into the dangers life may bring

And they are yours for a short period of time
Then slowly taken wherever the drive,
May go
Where life heads to
And they will follow

They will slowly forget what was like to be young
To first learn to use their tongue
To speak, to sing, to say thank you to mama
She'll always be there, just call her if you wanna

And papa maybe harsh
But he lifted you up to reach the stars
And now look where you are right now
You made old papa really proud

But parents will soon go
And you'll see your own children grow
Never forget what they have taught
Whatever they have given, whatever they have brought
