Mollys POV

"There's really is nothing that can be done?"

"No, Luna." her parents look at me through the window her mother waves at me to go in, I follow Ronnie inside.

"You're our Luna?" I'm not sure what to say

"Yes, what's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Dee, and this is my husband and mate Ryder."

"It's nice to meet you both, and who is this angel?"

"This is our daughter, Del."

"Del, what a beautiful name."

"She is our only daughter. We can't have more kids as I was hurt badly by a rogue attack a long time ago,"

"I'm sorry to hear that." Just then, Alpha Austin and the doctor walk in.

"Hello Luna, my name is Alex."

"Hello Alex, please call me Molly." we hear a growl he takes Dels vitals he has a clipboard and writes down Dels readings he looks at Del with so much sadness. I know iv already asked, but I just can't help myself

"Is there truly nothing that can be done?"

"No, don't you think we have tried everything?" Alpha Austin snaps at me they all look at him with surprise. Suddenly, her heart monitor starts beeping. Two nurses rush in the doctor, injecting her with something, and then he says the words no parents should hear

"I'm sorry it's time,"

"No, please help my baby, please," Dee screams. Ryder is holding her

"It's time to let her go" he says with tears rolling down his face, I can't let this happen I walk to Del the doctor moves out of the way, I place my hand on her head and take one of her hands in mine.

"What do you think you're doing?" Alpha Austin snaps at me, I ignore him  closing my eyes I feel the warmth flow through me and down my arms, a white glow now surround Del I feel her tumour concentrating hard I feel it get smaller and smaller until it disappears I see the scare on her head reform into perfectly smooth skin, the warmth flows back up my arms and the glow around Del disappears. Del opens her eyes. I smile at her, and then a wave of dizziness comes over me. I sway I feel arms around and sparks just before I pass out, I hear
"She's a healer."

I wake up in a room I sit up looking around there are black silk sheets on the bed the wall has a black feature wall with a silver wolf on it with green eyes, my breath catches in my throat it's my wolf she is pure silver all over with green eyes her name is Robin. It makes me sad that my wolf has not spoken to me in a while she has not been let out. I suddenly remember Del I need to get up and see her make sure she is ok, I fling the sheets off me to see I am only wearing a t shirt it hits me this is his room, why am I here? I should be in the pack house. The door opens, and he walks in. I pull the covers back over me, and he sits at the bottom of the bed, not saying anything the silence drags on, so I speak

"How is Del?"

"Getting tests, it's like the tumour wasn't there she is asking for you,"

"I'll go and see her can you pass my trousers please?"

"You should have told me you were a healer,"

"Should I why?"

"You are my mate,"

"Not in the traditional sense I'm not, you admitted you didn't want a mate just cause you know I'm a healer this changes nothing about that fact"

"It changes things"

"Why?"

"Because if word gets out, you're a healer. You will be targeted. People will want what is mine,"

"I'm not yours,"

"YOU ARE MINE!"

"Because I'm a healer?"

"No."

"I don't believe you I have only known you three days in that time you told me you could not love me, you don't want a mate or Luna, and now you see me save a life you want me, where is Tabby?" Just then, Tabby walks in and jumps on the bed.

"Hi girl, I hold her close to me

"Maybe I was wrong,"

"You wrong?"

"I said maybe."

"Can I go see Del, please?"

"Did your last pack know you were a healer?"

"No."

"How could they not?"

"Only my parents new they didn't want it known the last healer that was heard of was used terribly taken away from her parents, used to form alliances, packs trained harder more wounds that the healer had to heal, her life was taken away from her so was her mate" he growls "that's why I fainted today it's the first time I have used my power in a very long time"

"Why did you save her?"

"What sort of question is that?"

"You didn't know her,"

"That makes no difference at all she is a child. She hasn't lived life yet, but she should not be in a hospital bed. She should be out playing, being with her family."

"It was amazing,"

"Thank you. Does everyone in the pack know what i am?"

"Yes," I sigh

"Is that a problem?"

"I was hoping people would like me for me, not because I'm a healer,"

"I'm positive they will,"

"Who did the picture of the wolf?"

"Oh, I did she has been in my dreams,"

"Oh,"

"Will you be willing to be together?"

"I don't know that depends on you, you need to make up your mind what you want I don't want a mate that people in his own pack is scared of, I want someone who loves me for me, I want a proper mate, I'd like all the things you told me you could not give me".

"That was harsh."

"Well, that's the way it is,"

"What?"

"What what?"

"I didn't say anything," Alpha Austin says

"Oh my god, Robin,"

"Who is Robin?"

"My wolf, she hasn't spoken to me in a long time over a year,"

"Why so long?"

"I wasn't aloud to shift and I guess she was sad" he growls just then there is a knock at the door, he opens the door and is passed a tray of food bringing it over he places in front of me, I'm starved I tuck right in not careing if I look like a pig, I go to give Tabby some but he tells me she has been fed. He sits on the bed while I eat. When I am finished, he takes the tray and places it on the draws.

"When you ready, I'll take you to see Del," he then walks out the door.
