Dance of Fairies

As in splendor in the night,

By lipid pools of candlelight,

Though in the souls of men do lie,

The grace of ageless beauty nigh.

T’is endless in its reverie,

Baseless in iniquity,

Of spell and time in cloudy minds

That we, our hearts and souls entwine.

Should now the music ever sing,

‘Round the dance of Fairies’ wings

And in the glowing moonbeams seat,

The sparkling eyes that ‘ere should meet.

T’is Oberon himself set forth,

Against the bitter winds of North.

Titania in her flowing gown,

Waiting ‘neath her lover’s crown.

And through the autumn’s call prevails

Listless ending summer’s trails,

Should we but follow close behind,

And hold the world of Fey divine?

Blissful moments such as this

Bring with them ever happiness

Always the like, the dance maintains

To bring a sunlit glow from rains.

So dance with Fairies evermore

In endless beauty, fulfilling lore,

As they, the timeless, canter past

And we, two lovers, sleep long last.
