I don't know what I was doing walking home from Kasey's party at Two-Thirty in the morning.I think I had too many drinks.I felt eyes watching me as I was walking on Main Street three blocks from my house.I tried to ignore it,and for a while I was doing pretty good.Then I felt a whoosh of wind and everything got knocked out of me.
Damon's POV
As I walked back and forth in my room while the girl slept I thought "Why did she have to be there?I didn't mean to do it..Its just her blood smelled so much like my mate's that I never even got to taste.I just have to taste it just once.Then I'll take her home and never think about her again.At least I'd erase her memory."
