Your Real Home

"Where am I?" Tatsumi thought. "Am I home? Did...Did we win?"

The darkness was too much for him to even see through. But, he could tell he was in a bed. It's soft covers warming up his body while his head rested gently on what seemed to be a body pillow. His left hand felt the touch of another hand as it passed by, rubbing up his arm and towards his head.

"Tatsumi." A voice softly sang.

"Please tell me it's not Leone." He hoped.

The hand soon made contact with his head. It's hand was extremely cold, something he wasn't used to. Normally the cold hands he felt were from Leone soaking her hand in cold water and rubbing the back of his neck. However, this hand wasn't wet but dry.

"Tatsumi." The voice sang again. "Time to wake up."

Tatsumi slowly opened his eyes. The light in the room blinded him for a second before his vision began to adapt to the light and started to focus on the ceiling above him. He could see a small chandelier hanging above him, three lights all opposite of each other like the ends of a triangle. Just next to the chandelier was a sky-view window. The see through glass showed it was night time. The moon wasn't in view but the stars showed him it must be late.

"Where am I?" He wondered again.

Slowly turning his head, the view of blue hair met his eyes as he followed it all the way towards a partial red face. A small smile and caring blue eyes with a matching hat and uniform; he knew he wasn't home.

"Morning sleepy head, or should I say goodnight." Esdese smiled. "How did you sleep?"

"W-Where am I?" Tatsumi asked, slowly raising his upper body.

"Why, you're home of course silly." Esdese giggled.

"Home?" He thought. "That can't be right. If I was home then I would've been greeted by a busty woman in front of my door and a breakfast loaded with meat."

"What do you mean I'm home?" He asked.

"Hmm, maybe I hit you to hard." Esdese told herself. "Well can't be helped I guess." She shrugged before directly staring into Tatsumi's eyes. "I managed to capture you and was the last member of my team to stay in the game."

Tatsumi's eyes widened as Esdese attempted to remember what actually happened during the event. Apparently she must've been too focused on him to care for the details.

"From what I remember is after I got you, I heard something about poison being sprayed on your teammates and mine."

"What! Are..Are they okay?"

Esdese nodded. "Don't worry, it turns out that the poison was actually a muscle relaxant. One of your teammates managed to find the perpetrator and stop her before actually killing anyone."

"B-But who would do such a thing?"

"Tatsumi, think back to the past few weeks." Esdese sternly said.
