Anguished  Land

Shamans dressed in rabbit's fur and tanned buckskin call upon Mother Earth for healing; elderberry-stem flutes chant harmonious refrains. Robins, mockingbirds, and gray catbirds gather in birdsong, acid rain descends; the lone eagle cries in disbelief as Mother Earth thunders her answer.

Earthquake undulates

A slithering mating call

And swallows it's prey.
