Childhood
I.
I wish I can go back
Where I could do things
Freely like before
Like when I was a kid
II.
Where I could play;
Under the rain,
Under the sun,
Under the cloudy skies.
III.
Where choosing the right color of crayon,
is the only problem in life.
IV.
I wish I can go back to childhood
V.
Where I could eat,
as many as I want.
Not thinking about my calorie intake
Not thinking if it would mess with my favorite dress.
VI.
I want to fly kites again
I want to play at the streets again
I want to run like a child
I want to live like a child
VII.
I want dad to carry me again,
Where I was never heavy
Where mom read me stories,
about dragons and fairies.
VIII.
I want to be a child again
Where my imaginations are far from reality
Wonderful, cheerful
playful and peaceful
IX.
I want to be innocent again
Where I'm free to say what I want to say
When I'm still curios of anything
thinking that skies blanket the world.
X.
I want to be a child again
Where there are no heartaches
Nor problems in life.
XI.
Tears were shed,
As I wrote this poem.
All I want was to bring all back,
The love that I had lost.
