Adequate

Oh, to be adequate in looks.

To not be ugly nor beautiful,

Only somewhere in between.

To know that love would find you.

Not due to appearance's entice,

But for reasons of essence.

Ordinary is the greatest privilege.

One does not bear burdens,

Except for that which they induce.

Life can be silent and calm.

Worries of superficial nature,

Would leave you if warranted.

Question what is real or illusion.

Who are we beyond the facade,

Note that our eyes deceive.
