As I rounded the curve on the narrow highway, I almost collided with… A zombie driving a Hostess Twinkie truck!! “Ahh!!” I screamed with becoming both a pancake on the highway and a buffet dinner for 6 zombies!!““Chirst! Jamie!!” screamed Arson my Best Friend aka Partner in Crime (PIC),from the passenger seat of our abandoned hummer we had found after the virus spread all thru Chicago

~flashback~   ٭It hadn’t been long since the virus affected most of Chicago let alone all the rest of the U.S or the world! Arson and I had been at a birthday party the night before until…it happened… all, I let myself relive of the horrid memory, everyone scrambling and screaming, people getting eaten by… other people?! My only instinct was to grab Arson’s arm and drag him somewhere to hide running from psychopaths deranged with human body scraps hanging from their mouths, blood everywhere all I could hear was screaming people being eaten or eating…I shudder as I think of that night Arson and I barely got away alive…٭

As I think about it now, we’re the only sane actual humans around for what I’ve seen and it’s been almost 8 months since the virus occurred, we’ve been on the road just about the whole time other than to get food and water and other supplies we might need. I think to myself while in my daze driving down an abandoned back road; Arson takes my hand and rears me out of my train of thought. “Don’t think too much about it Jamie, we’ll be fine.” “I know Arson, but it’s been 8 months since it occurred and we’re the only actual humans who have survived so far… hell for all we know it’s just us, we could be the only ones alive don’t that worry you at all? Being the only two people alive in this hell hole?!” I say spilling all the things that have been going through my mind since last month.

“No to be honest it doesn’t really worry me what worry’s me
