I Want You To Notice

I want you to notice if I am not around
I want you to miss me when I cannot be found.
I want you to love me as I love you
What i want doesn't matter, not even to a few.
When you are not around the sun doesn't shine
When I am not around I don't think you mind.
I wonder if it's always been that way
And I just didn't realise until today.
When you are not around my mind tries to pursue
The reasons why you do as you do.
Is it from me that you are trying to run
Or my imagination having cruel fun?
When you are not around I feel so depressed
Abandoned, forsaken, desolate, and oppressed.
When I am not around I don't know how you feel
You keep things inside never expressing what's real.
Yes I want you to love me, I really do
I want you to love me as I love you.
I want you to miss me when I cannot be found
I want you to notice if I am not around.
