calum pulled a pink pen from the lilac pencil case and began to copy the notes from his best friend ashton's notebook, he would have copied them from the board but he was to preoccupied starting at the blonde bombshell who walked in late

calum was intrigued by his baby blue eyes and black lip ring, he held his head high and that made calum's heart flutter in delight

ashton nudged calum and he whimpered in pain

"that was rude." he said and crossed his sweater clad arms over his chest

"so you have a crush on the blonde?" he teases his friend

"no, he's just cute. that's all." calum tries to convince himself more than ashton

"okay sure." he says and continues to write nonsense down in his notebook

calum slips his pastel notebook back into his white with strawberry graphics backpack and goes on his phone until the bell rings

when the bell rings for lunch they already were out the door, calum clutching to ashton's arm so he didn't get lost in the crowd of people calum found repulsing

after ashton pushed their way into the lunch room and they sat down at their usual table with the popular kids, calum pulled out his lunch that consisted of an organic peanut butter and strawberry jelly sandwich with the crusts cut off, a strawberry jello cup, green apple slices and three mint oreos. calum ate the same dainty lunch every day since freshman year

ashton pulled out his lunch and they ate while making small talk, calum pulling off pieces of the sandwich with perfectly manicured nails and popping it into his mouth

glancing around the lunch room, he spots the familiar blonde hair at a lunch table across the room, he can't quite make out who he's sitting with but he knows it should be him

"calum!" his friend bella yells and giggles at the fact that he zoned out in the middle of a conversation

"sorry, what?" he says and crosses his bare legs, and straightening out his white skirt

"I asked if you think I should chop off my hair"

"definitely not! what the hell is wrong with you!" he exclaims, loving her long hair

"I didn't think so either." she laughs and continues to talk about how ugly she would be with short hair

calum eats his apple slices and thinks

he thinks about the mystery boy with baby blue eyes that matched calum's sweater

he also thinks about those baby blue chunky heel boots that he saved online that would look great with his cream skirt and grey  sweater for ashton's party this weekend

calum quickly pulls out his phone and orders the shoes with express shipping so they will be here in time for the weekend

calum's mind wanders to the blonde boy again maybe he will be at the party and calum can 'drunkenly' make out with him and see him in school on monday to have him ask calum out

the bell rings and calum throws his trash away and finds ashton so they can go to class together

calum and ashton discuss what ashton should wear to his party while calum applied light pink lip gloss to his puckerd lips and before they knew it the school day was over and ashton was driving calum home
