Coma (Percy jackson fanfiction)

Twist in plot AGAIN !

Percy POV :

I opened my eyes as I saw three or four blur figures.I blinked my eyes a few times as my eyesight seems to get clear.Standing in front of me is Annabeth , my father and Athena which is hugging Annabeth as if comforting her.

"Percy, are you okay my son " Poseidon asked warily , frowning.

"Percy! I am so worried about you. I miss you so much ! " Annabeth screamed/shouted , as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I am fine, Wise girl. " I said as a raised a shaky hand and wiped the tears away from her beautiful face. " I am okay now. "I reassured Annabeth.

" You better not let my daughter worry again, sea spawn. If you ever let her get hurt, I will make sure your ending will be even worst then I had done to Medusa. " Athena warned.

Poseidon winced at that.

"I will never let Annabeth worry again , I promise." I reassured.

I love Annabeth too much to hurt her , and also I don't want to be like Medusa. Being a monster for eternity is the last thing on my to-do list. 

But I will be willing to be one to exchange for Annabeth's happiness.

Annabeth's pov :

Its so nice to have Percy back with me. Like the old times. Like as if nothing had happened.

No  Percy getting into Coma , Gaia taking over him, no battles , wars.Risking of lives everyda-

Arghh...

I am now behaving like Percy.

Damn.

He is alert but also oblivious at the same time. How can this two word both describe one person . The two words have like the directly opposite meaning , yet can describe the same person.

But like everyone said , Percy is special. Like the sea. Unpredictable.

And that is why I love Percy

Annabeth's Pov still

Percy and I were sitting by the beach, dipping our toes into the sand. Feeling the sea breeze flow against our face, breathing in fresh air.

" Annabeth." Percy called out.

" Yes , seaweed brain ? "

" I-I am sorry." Percy apologized as he hung his head low.

" For what ? " I said as I reached out my hands to touch his cheeks.

" I made you heartbroken and alone for months while I was in coma. I...I " Before Percy could continue , I placed a finger on his lips as I cut in.

" Its alright , Percy. Its okay. Everything is over now. " I said.

Percy smiled at me , as he leaned in for a kiss. As I leaned into reply the kiss, he suddenly started coughing.

He laid on the sand,coughing and shaking. I tried to help him but he just can't stop. He covered his mouth as he coughed.His eyes were shut tightly , as if he was in great pain.

Finally , it seemed like hours , but actually only minutes, he stopped.

" You okay , Percy ? " I asked , very worried about his health.

He slowly got up and put down his hands from his mouth.

I looked down at his hand as I see a dark red liquid in his hands as some of it dripped onto the sand.

Blood.
