  "...And that, my fellow graduates, is why our class is the best." Candance Fisher, valedictorian, wrapped up her speech with artificial love.

  The benediction began. I could feel my palms dripping with excitment, anticipation, and a little bit of pressure. "Graduates, turn your tassels from left to right! You are now officially graduates!" I turned my tassel and like that, my life was changed.

   In more ways than I knew...

  Our alma matter rang from our underclassmen band members, our signals to fling our hats in the air. I did so, almost hesitantly... scared...

  Out of nowhere, Jude hopped on stage, and grabbed the mic.
