Hunters pov. I came home and was furious I saw that my mate was gone and the she had taken my son. The only reason that I have ever slapped her is because she didn't do as I have said. Jordyns POV.
I went to the grocery store to pick up some things for Jesse and me to snack on and some clothes. But what I didn't realize is that I was on another packs territory. I found that out when a couple big broad chested men hovered over me with angry expressions on their faces. One of them said you are a rouge you do not belong on this territory I assured them that I was just buying groceries but he did not believe me. They took me and my son to the alpha of the Starlight pack. The first time I saw him our eyes met and an instant connection occurred. Right then I knew that I loved him.
