Beep..Beep..Beep
I turn off my alarm clock and start to get ready for school. Oh how I love Mondays. It's 6:30 and school starts at 8:00. I walk into my bathroom and I strip off my pajamas and hop in the shower. I turn on the hot water and stand there and let the water run down my body. I start to sing the chorus to All American Girl by Carrie Underwood
"And now he's wrapped around her finger
shes the center of his whole world,
And his heart belongs to that sweet, little, beautiful, wonderful, perfect
All American Girl!"
I was pretty good at singing I thought but I was to shy to sing in front of anybody else so I wouldn't know what other people thought.I quickly wash my hair and body and hop out. I wrap a a warm fluffy towel around my body tightly and walk out of my bathroom and back into my room.
I walk into my gigantic closet and look for something to wear. After about five minutes I finally decide on a black dress with white and yellow flowers on it and a black jacket. I quickly throw on my robe and begin curlying my long brown hair and put on natural looking make up which consists of brown eye-shadow some eyliner and mascara, and a little lip gloss. I throw on my colthes and run back to my closet to look for some shoes. I quickly decide on some lace stockings that go up to my knee and some black heels.
By the time I get ready it's 7:15 so I take one last glance in the mirror then run down the stairs. I enter the kitchen and see my mom in the kitchen cooking her homemade chocolate chip waffles. "Hey mom!" She turns around and smiles at me. "Hey sweetie! You better hurry up or you'll be late for school." That's my mom for you always worring about everything but I still love her. "Mom I still have half an hour and its only a fifteen minute walk to school so I'll leave in about five minutes." She looks at me with a huge grin across her face. "Mom why are you looking at me like that?"" You'll see" She goes back to her cooking and then she whipped her head around like she just remembered something. " oh yeah your dad is waiting outside for you!"
I walk down the long hallway and through the family room as I make my way to the door. I grab my bag a head out the door. As soon as I walked out the door I screamed out in joy! There my dad stands with a pair on keys on a keychain that has a sparkling K on it. "SURPRISE!!" He leads me to the garage and opens the door for me I walk on and see a cherry red convertible. I scream again and give my dad the biggest hug on the planet. My mom comes in the door. " Hey I bought that as well so where's my hug!" I turn towards her and tackle her in a bear hug. " Thank you, Thank you!" I let them go and stared at my new car! My mom ended my trance by saying "Okay you can thank us later but you need to get to school. Love you bye!" "Love you to bye " I gave them both a quick kiss on the check and hoped in my car. It's got that new car smell. I open the garage door and drive on out.
I head to school. We just started school a week ago and I'm a senior.
I get to school in about 5 minutes and I'm 15 minutes early because I didn't calculate the time of driving instead of walking. If you haven't figured it out yet I'm pretty smart. As I walk towards the door I hear the usual from the in crowd. " oh look here comes goody goody" " watch out for miss know it all she might bore you to death." And tons of other comments. The only one who dosent say anything is the famous Ryder Daniels. He is the king of this school. He is the quarter back of the football team, and the hottest boy in school. Every girl wants him except me, but nobody can have him because he is so called unattainable. But for some reason he is the only one who dosent make fun of me.
I just hope I don't run into Emily Diamond, the meanest girl in school. She hates me and I don't know why. I'm nothing but nice to everyone and all I get in return is to be treated like trash. I'm sick and tired of it but there's nothing to do about it so I just keep walking with my head held high into the school to my locker. Hoping and praying that I have a a better day then every other day. Little did I know that my whole world was about to be turned upside down.
I did it. I wrote the first chapter. Please don't hate its my first story. So sorry I know it's short I know but I stayed up all night working on it I hope you guys enjoy it. Like and comment and I am hoping to do at least two to three updates a week! Love Lexi!
