When Earth was defenseless, they came from the sky,

Terrible beasts with a deafening cry.

Suddenly they appeared, as though from thin air,

All the humans could do was watch in despair.

They came to Earth in enormous arks,

They had talons like hawks’, and teeth like sharks’.

Aggressive in nature and heavy in build,

The monsters invaded, and mankind . . . was killed.

Beasts appeared on the streets, day after day,

Killing any human that stood in their way.

Quickly, they made the planet their home,

While the humans had to find safety of their own.

Mankind was forced to live in terror,

Of the horrible creatures that would rule here forever.

The beasts stalk in the shadows, and hunt ever silent,

The monsters invaded, but mankind . . . was defiant.
