I watched as Meiko hesitated.

“Shadow, she says she’s shadow.” I muttered

“Don’t worry, if you’re not comfortable telling us right now we can wait.” Pearls said with a smile on her face

After a few seconds of silence my vision of the dream got blurry. It then started fading to black as I woke up. I opened my eyes and looked at my alarm clock. It was 2:00 A.M. I looked around realizing I was still a cat.

“Did I get any sleep?” I asked myself as I turned back into a neko

My head felt like it was about to explode.

“Probably just hunger.” I thought getting out of bed

I looked out on the balcony and saw the city lights still shining bright. I stretched and walked over to the doors and opened them. I then walked out onto the balcony and took in the sight.

“I won’t have to worry about the city after I finish UA.” I thought to myself

I felt the wind brush against my skin and the scent of smoke. I looked over to where the smoke was coming from. There was a fire close by but it didn’t bother me as much as it should’ve.

“As long as it doesn’t touch our building there’s no reason to worry. After all, the pros can take care of it.” I thought going back inside

I walked over to my closet and changed into a pair of cargo pants, tanktop, socks and a hoodie. Class was canceled for the day so we could just take it easy.

“I should tell the others that we lost Marry.” I thought typing the text

The USJ was attacked yesterday.

Raven:
We lost Marry in the fight.

I put my earbuds in and connected it to my phone.

“I need to take a walk.” I thought leaving my room

I looked into the living room and saw Rin watching a movie. She had some caramel popcorn and some ice cream next to her

“I thought you were going to bed.” I whispered

“I don’t think any of us were going to bed, much less going to be able to sleep.” Rin said

“So is Kate awake then?” I asked looking over at Kate’s room

“Ya, I don’t think she wants any human interaction though.” Rin said eating a spoon of ice cream

“Well, I would rather go on a walk than mope around.” I said looking back to Rin

“Where are you going?” Rin asked

“On a walk.” I replied

“Oh ok.” Rin said turning her attention back to her movie

“Do you wanna go with me?” I asked

“Sure.” Rin replied turning off the TV

“I’m gonna ask Kate.” I said walking over to her door

I knocked and waited for a response.
“Come in.” Kate replied

I opened the door and walked into her room.

“Do you wanna go on a walk?” I asked

“Sure.” Kate said

“Rin’s coming too. Oh and maybe we could get something to eat.” I said walking out of her room

Rin was putting up all the food she got out. Kate walked out of her bedroom.

“Oh you got Kate to join.” Rin said noticing Kate
