As I was sitting with Nia in my lap, I heard someone yelled Nia's name

"Nia!! Nia"

"In the living room!" I shouted back

"Fuck what happened!?" I heard, as I looked up I realized that it was Naldo.

What is he doing here?

"What happened!? Why are you here lia? And what the fuck happened to Nia" he yelled in my face as he felt Nia's pulse

I couldn't say anything, still shocked by the scene infront of me

"Hey! I'm talking to you" he said tapping me on my cheek

"I don't know" I said softly

"Weh the fuck yuh mean yuh nuh know Lia?" Before he could say anything more we heard the ambulance siren

He quickly got in his feet and grabbed Nia off my lap and run outside.

I couldn't budge, it felt like I was glued to the same position, blood soaked my lap and my hands

Whimpers release from my mouth as tears started to fall from my eyes.

As I was crying I heard the door opened again

"Get up Lia" naldo said

I just continued to sob not caring how I looked at the moment.

"Lia baby get up, you can't stay on the floor anymore the police are here" he said as he wrapped his hands around my waist pulling me up off the ground.

After wiping my tears with his hands, he placed a kiss on my forehead

"It's not your fault okay, it's not your fault" he whispered as he hugged me rubbing my back.

"Sorry to interrupt but I need to ask the young miss some questions" a police officer said

"Officer mi nuh think now a di best time fi do that" naldo said annoyed

"No it's fine, I'll answer the questions officer" I said softly

"Okay it's not gonna take long" he said as he sat in the chair infront of me

"Okay Ms ??"

"Lia it's Lia sir"

"Okay miss Lia what happened?" He said as he pulled out a notepad

I sigh and started to explain what happened starting from this morning in the meeting.

After I finished he looked at me with sympathy

"I'm sorry that happened to you lia, that's very traumatic but as you describe this looks like a case of cyber bullying and attempted suicide."

"If there's anymore information please do inform me" officer Blake said as he handed me a business card and left

"Let's go Lia, the police wants to do their job" he said referring to the offers thats taking pictures and also cleaning

I nod then got up from where I was, "can we go to the hospital? I need to see if she's okay"

"No let's go home, you're soaked in blood Lia you had enough for the day" he said as he hold my hands leading me out the house.

I sigh in defeat

As we entered out the house they were multiple people outside with their phones up.

"Shit! Cover the blood with this Lia" he said as he throw his jacket over my shoulder
