Lost in time | Ryu Sunjae x reader

The music of the popular boy group Eclipse blasted through the taxi  speakers requested by my one and only little sister as we made our way to their new year's eve concert

"Sunjae is really giving us free front tickets right?"she asked me for about the 100th time today

I sighed before answering "yes Nari,"

"You know he really is generous, despite you forgetting about him all these years he's still helping us out, he really is an angel!"Nari squeals hugging her lightstick as she squealed one of the photocards she was holding fell and I bent over to pick it up.

It wasn't a photocard but a photobooth photo of Sunjae back in highschool in our uniforms.
I couldn't help but feel bad as I looked at the photo because I didn't remember him at all even after all these years after my brain surgery yet I had the audacity to call him out of the blue for a favor?Talk about shameless.

Everyone around me always told me how close we were from children to our teens, but it was strange if he was so important to me how could I forget him but remember everyone else from before the surgery?

"Sorry..I sort of was going through your stuff looking for an outfit and found it, I was planning on showing it to you later hoping it would jog your memory.."Nari sheepishly smiles
"Nari it's been more than 10 years since my surgery,I doubt I'll remember Ryu Sunjae, If I haven't remembered him by now I doubt I ever will."I say handing the photo back to her.

Once we arrived at the concert venue and as expected it was full of fans, majority wearing Sunjae merchandise he was the most popular member after all.
Was I once really bestfriends with someone as famous as him?

The concert was about to start, Nari and I took out seats right in the front, they were specifically labled with our names

The group walked onto stage one by one and everyone cheered when it was Sunjaes turn to walk on he looked around as if he was looking for someone and that's when he spotted me, as we locked eyes with each other in the room full of people it was almost as if time slowed down and my chest started to hurt as we stared at eachother

Am I sick or something?

"I'm glad."Sunjae mouths looking at me still with a little smile on his face

Why was he glad?

As the concert went on, it was quite obvious Sunjae kept his eye on me as he sang.Was he angry at me for only contacting him after all this time for a favor?I had no clue,as he sang I couldn't help but feel he was singing to me.

Once it came to an end and we were about to leave an lady in formal attire walked up to my sister and I
"Miss Nari? Ryu Sunjae would like to see you."She smiles

I smile back before following behind her with Nari by my side as we got closer and closer to the waiting room we could hear arguing and it seemed to be the band members

"I really have to hear you're retiring from someone else!you really are selfish!"
I hear a voice which sounded like Inhyuk and others boys seemed to be trying to calm  him down
"Stay out here alright..I wanna say thank you to Sunjae then we can head back."I say to my sister in a whisper
"Please take these for him to sign!"she hands me her photocards

As I walk into the room and the other members are leaving they looked pissed off and walked out not bothering to acknowledge my existence.I walked up to Sunjae who sat on a chair with a stoic expression
