DREAMS AND REALITY: A JOURNEY OF GROWING UP.

In the sixth grade, I fantasized grand,

To be a healer, oh so grand!

Like a horse, I'll sprint to bring solace near,

A dolphin, playful & cheerful, a soother so clear.

Like an owl, with keen eyes, solutions I'll discover,

Zesty as a bee, my squad, shares the same feathers.

Guardians united, in love and care,

Healing with joy in the air.

In the eighth grade, I changed,

Living in the fantasies of being a biologist.

Like a field mouse, sniffing and collecting samples all around,

A seahorse, so delicate, discovering underwater surrounds.

Mighty as a falcon with soaring flight, riveting aves,

Transforming beauty like a butterfly, discovering lives.

Living beings united, in love and care,

Discovering lives with joy and care.

In the eleventh grade, reality hit me badly.

I'm not the best at anything, sadly.

Like an ostrich, with short wings, I dream to fly,

But I'm stuck in this game, so sly.

Like a chameleon, I ponder and decide to choose science,

Maybe a future biologist or healer, in love with medicine.

But no one knows what the future holds,

Maybe I will change tenfold.
