dabi x reader One Shots

It was nearing dark as I finally left the library, after restocking the  books and putting them back in their categories, I lived a lil outside of the small town and usually walked without any problems but tonight i had to take a different route home because the road was closed for some unknown reason well unknown to me

The walk back is really calming and the view at night is amazing considering I live on a hill and there's forest a few yards away
I have a garden where I sell flowers and grow cabbage 

When I was almost home I heard a noise in the alley and being curious I go take a look dumb right "curiosity killed the cat" I mumbled to myself

I couldn't really see anything so I just waved it off, as soon as I turned around I ran into something, rather someone

"Doll it's late out, what are you doing" dabi says grabbing my chin "I left the library late and the other road home is closed" I say looking into his beautiful blue eyes before he could respond there's another noise from the alley and I turn to look again

"Let's get you home" dabi says wrapping an arm around my shoulder leading me away "you must be tired and need a good nights rest"  he looks back to check for something before looking ahead

"What was that, what if someone's hurt" I go to look back again "it's fine doll just the wind blowing" it wasn't that windy though

We get to my home and dabi gives my forehead a kiss before leaving.

He's a strange man he shows up at random times just to walk me home sometimes bringing gifts, I don't know how he knows the exact time and place but it doesn't bother me, I sometimes I wish he'd stick around longer than usual

*Dabi*

That was incredibly bad timing she could've seen me, i was a little thirsty so I had to make a pit stop but I didn't expect her to be there, she usually takes the other way home, those idiots really are trying to set me up

"Dabi if you care about this girl that much tell her what you are and change her that simple"

"Dabi turn her then you'll be together forever"

"We'll help you tell her"

Spinner, toga and twice those three are gonna get it the next time I see them

It's not that I don't wanna live with her forever it's the fact that she might be terrified of what I am. So I silently think about what to do everyday as I watch her carefully

I won't I leave her alone so another vampire could snatch her. why would I leave her she's mine after all, I have a job to protect her.

The next day

As I tend to my garden I accidentally cut my finger on a thorn from the roses I grow, a little blood never hurt anyone but boy I was wrong

"Doll are you okay" dabi smelled the blood and it smelled delightful to him of course he wasn't the only one, "dabi when did you get here? how long have you been standing there?" I say a bit shocked

Dabi didn't reply instead he kept looking at my finger "dabi?" Still no answer, he walked towards me but it was like he was in a trance, he grabbed my hand and licked the small dot of blood

"Your blood doll, it taste so good" his eyes were glowing and his fangs were showing "d- dabi what, what's going on" I say panicking a little on the inside slowly backing up  "go inside" he says

"NOW"

i hurried inside and locked the door, I've never seen him like that, I sat there thinking about what I saw and what was dabi and why he reacted that way, I looked at my finger the cut was healed, I thought I was going crazy. The rest of that day I stayed inside and the next time I saw dabi I would ask about what I saw

It'd been 2 weeks since then I haven't seen him and I wondered if he was okay, I'd do anything to see him again which is why I'm staring down this alley he showed up last time so maybe he will again

I walked down the alley and someone was standing there as I got closer they had fangs and there eyes were glowing standing right next to this person was dabi
He turned towards me "what are you doing here" he said clearly angry that I walked down this alley  "it's dangerous for you to even be here" he walked towards me and grabbed my arm leading me away

"No I wanna know the truth what happened last time w- why were your eyes glowing and your teeth and the person in the alley that had the same thing" I said looking at him " look just go home" he said

"What are you pls just tell me, look dabi I love you and that's not gonna change no matter what"

"You love me?"

"Yes"
