She sits in the Darkness
Wondering what to do
How can She help?
What can She do?
With a tear stained face
She begins to realize
Things are not what they seem
Hiding in her mind
Crawling deep inside
Only to be pulled back out
Only to be told No,
Only to be told, I wont let you....
Wanting to save the very land she lives on
Being hunted by the pain in her thoughts
She runs, and runs,
As she falls
She wonders if her failings will be forgiven
Wonders if she really is strong
Wondering who will catch her?
As her world falls more,
She hits the bottom
Only to see herself at 35 with her child standing beside her
Listen to the voice within she says
Trust in it, Life is a journey
It can take you anywhere you choose
Stand up when theres no one else
Look inside yourself
Find your strength again
Then she hears a small voice
Don't cry Momma
When I come things will make more since
Then she looks at the little girl and says
Wheres your Daddy?
The girl then says Look beside you....
In the darkness there he was
Waiting for me to reach to him...
Telling me to stop hideing myself
Knowing the pain
She tries to stand
Hoping this time she wont fall
Grabing his hand
Following him as they walk together
Into the Light....
