My God

My God lives behind your smile on blue sky sunny days,
The type where puffy clouds entertain you with shapely ways,
My God embraces me warmly in every moment of despair,
He feeds my empty soul in return for intelligent prayer,

My God has blessed me with  a portal to his omniscience,
So when I look inward for answers I can trust my conscience,
My God loves me unconditionally despite the sins I commit,
He paves my path to forgiveness when I feel I should quit,

My God speaks to me of his wishes for mankind,
Uniting warring factions with ideologies aligned,
Ive signed a declaration with the God of all pious prophets,
This task grows by the hour, a fear inducing colossus,

My God helped a man slay a giant three thousand years ago,
But today we face an army of giants with invisible glow,
That's why a posse of poets is needed to finesse the enemy,
To mitigate propaganda spread by waves received mentally,

My God only requires you trust in his ability,
To restore heaven on earth through means of civility,
Tiny acts of kindness will breed social enlightenment,
Many hands together in unison make light work of it,

My God will never turn his back, even if you lose sight of him,
His voice is inside of you just remember to listen while tuned in,
He will guide you back to the road of your saviour,
All it takes is a loving adjustment in behaviour,

To many God may seem like a magician's parlour trick,
But what do you have to lose when multitudes are sick,
How can it hurt you to shift your perspective?
Now clasp your hands and make faith your objective.
