Chapter 13: Parties and Dances

As the evening approached, excitement filled the air in the fourth-floor flat as Rhea and Simran busied themselves getting ready for the fresher's party. In Simran's room, the two friends stood in front of the mirror, exchanging compliments and helping each other with their outfits.

"You look absolutely stunning, Rhea. That wine-colored saree suits you perfectly." Simran spoke while adjusting Rhea's pallu. "Back at ya girl. That backless blouse is going to turn heads for sure." Rhea smiles.

Meanwhile, in the boys' shared room, Dev, Ishan, and Arjun were putting the finishing touches on their outfits.

"I think navy blue goes well with black pants, right?" Dev asked as he buttoned up his shirt making Ishan nod. "Definitely. It's a classic combination. You look sharp, Dev."

"And Ishan, that black shirt really brings out the color of your eyes," Arjun answers while straightening his collar.

Meanwhile, in the sixth-floor flat, Tanya, Laila, and Gayathri were getting ready together in Laila and Tanya's room. They laughed and chatted as they helped each other with their makeup and hair."Wow, Gayathri, that hot pink saree looks amazing on you. It's so vibrant." Tanya gushes making her smile.

"Thanks, Tanya. Your mix of black and maroon is so unique. You're going to stand out."

"And Tanya, that blouse is stunning. It really complements the saree." Laila answers while wearing her earrings.

With a final spritz of perfume, they were ready to join the others. Meanwhile, in the boy's room, Pavitr and Karan were getting ready in a relaxed manner.

"I'm thinking of wearing this dark green shirt. What do you think, Karan?" Pavitr asked while Karan was tying his shoelaces. "Looks good, Pavitr. It's a nice change from your usual black."

As Arjun sat in the living room of the fourth-floor flat after getting ready, idly scrolling through his phone, he couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation for the evening ahead. The soft glow of the room's lights cast a warm ambiance, adding to the excitement of the upcoming fresher's party. Lost in thought, he looked up as he heard footsteps approaching.

Rhea entered the living room, her eyes focused on her phone screen as she scrolled through messages. Her wine-colored saree draped elegantly around her, catching the light and accentuating her features. Arjun couldn't help but admire her poise and grace as she walked in.

"Hey, Rhea. You look absolutely stunning." Arjun smiles making Rhea look up from her phone as she returns the smile. "Thanks, Arjun. You're looking pretty sharp yourself."

They shared a brief moment of camaraderie, the excitement of the evening palpable in the air. Rhea took a seat next to Arjun, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
