Kieran stood at their spot and waited for her, trying his best to remain patient, but failing. The sun was already up, almost noon in fact. He couldn't help but to feel worried and anxious, fearing that she had forgotten about their plans and he was standing here like an idiot.

"Where is she?" Kieran quietly muttered, wondering where she was, and why she was running late.

Just as he was about to take out his phone to text her, he felt a light tap on his shoulder causing him to yelp in surprise as he turned to see her behind him.

Kieran was stunned, speechless even. The outfit, the way she carried herself, she was breathtakingly beautiful. He was frozen, not knowing how to express his emotions.

The dress looked absolutely breathtaking. The sun was shining down on her, making her sparkle like she had no flaws. That is to say, she already looked perfect without the sun shining on her. But the dress alone just made her look even more stunning if that were even possible.

"Wowzers...You look... Amazing..." Kieran was mesmerized, and blushed, barely able to form words as he looked at the girl he liked, she looked like she came straight out of a fairy tale.

"Thank you..." Her words came out softly and her cheeks instantly turned a bright shade of red. She couldn't help but blush at the compliment. She was happy that he liked how she looked, but still couldn't wait to see his reaction when she gave him his gift. Her smile continued to grow as she stared at him. The expression on her face was a mix between being bashful and being shy.

"You look nice as well." She said as she gave him a small smile, her eyes admiring him from his outfit to his overall appearance.

Kieran smiled, feeling his heart beat faster and faster as he stood there, staring at her, trying his best to hide his feelings.

"Umh its nothing special but... Th-thank you." Kieran said, blushing from her complement. He wore a simple white button-down shirt with some blue shorts and suspenders. And also some handsocks to blend it all together noting much. But he did change his hair a bit, it was a semi-bun with only the two front bangs slided into the bun.

"Shall we?" Kieran asked, gesturing her to go, trying to hide his excitement and nervousness to spend the entire day with her.

"Yeah... Let's go." The girl said with a bright smile as she took his hand. For the first time, she really felt like they were going somewhere with a relationship. This date was special and she had a feeling that they both would make it meaningful. The walk was silent, but that was just fine with her. She didn't really have anything else to say to break the silence. Her mind was too occupied with being happy of being next to him.

As they made their way around the park, Kieran couldn’t help but to notice the silence between the two. They would ask the occasional question to try and fill the silence, but it still remained. It felt a bit awkward to him, the two had been friends and usually were fine with each other, but this time felt different. A part of him was scared that this date might ruin things for the two of them.

He had wanted this day to go perfectly, but he was afraid that his lack of experience with things like this might make him mess things up. No! you've only got one chance at this Kieran. It's all building up to this. It's either now or never!

Kieran looked at her and decided that he wanted to take this into his own hands, he couldn’t allow this date to go south. Suddenly he took her by her hand and started to pull her along. Their time spent together was a bit awkward, but this time he was going to change that. There was no doubt that this’ll be a day for both of them to remember.
