Rae's Undying Love for Claire

Chapter 14

Claire's Dorm:
Cathrine was busy writing a letter to her parents telling them all about school.
"Oh I'm so sorry Cathrine." Claire said
"Huh Why what's wrong Claire?" Cathrine asked
"I-I don't think I want to go to this dance anymore." Claire replied
"Why not Claire?" Cathrine asked
"B-Because she won't be there." Claire suddenly said
"How do you know that? Maybe she'll be there why don't you go and see for yourself." Cathrine said
"Oh Cathrine please come with me to the dance." Claire begged
"Huh what do you mean Claire?" Cathrine asked
"I'll be there with you every step of the way."
Claire replied
"No as I have told you I'm not going Claire." Catherine said
"Why not Cathrine?" Claire asked
"There are going to be so many people at the dance which makes me so scared and nervous."
Cathrine said
"O-Oh I didn't know about that Cathrine."
Claire said
"It's ok Claire listen go have fun without me." Cathrine said
"Don't worry Cathrine I'll come back and tell you everything when I get back." Claire said
"U-Um Claire before you go do you want to practice dancing with me?" Cathrine asked
"Y-Yes of course we can dance right here in the dorm. We should be careful that we don't
bump into anything Cathrine." Claire said
"I won't Claire." Cathrine said
So Cathrine and Claire started to dance slowly around the dorm.
Claire and Cathrine felt so happy and
free dancing with no problem.
"You're very good at dancing Cathrine." Claire said
"O-Oh you think so Claire?" Cathrine said
"Oh no what time is it?" Claire asked
"It's almost 9:00 PM." Cathrine replied
"I have to go now the Ball starts in a few minutes." Claire said
"A-Alright Claire. It was fun
dancing with you Claire." Cathrine said
"Oh you too Cathrine we should do this again soon." Claire said with a smile on her face.
*Wait am I getting feelings for Cathrine?*
Claire thought
What was happening to Claire?
Claire quickly got ready for the Ball. Claire sighed
as she looked into the mirror.
*I hope Rae will be at the dance. Oh look at that it's already time to go.* Claire was thinking in her head
Claire walked out of her dorm as she headed to where all the other students
were lined up. All the students were rushing to the castle where the Ball was being held.
Claire tried to hurry up but she couldn't let herself get hurt so she decided to walk as fast as her high heels could take her.
It was a bad idea to run in high heels after all.
