"Himaris a semi grade one sorcerer so she usually goes on solo missions, you'll mostly be observing today"
"What is this place.." Yuta blinked as he made his way through an abandoned mansion with Himari
"Apparently the owners of this mansion were cult leaders that trapped their followers in this place on the guise of a so called 'fast' that lasted for months" Himari answered
"I read the report, their bodies were later found scattered around the mansion and there was evidence that some of the followers turned to cannibalism near the end of their lives"
"It's no wonder curses were born from the fear and disgust associated with this place" She concluded, yutas horrified face causing her to pause
"That's a lot to take in.." Yuta cringed
"I know right" Himari scoffed "I don't get why they didn't demolish the building"
"Yeah.." Yuta blinked
"She doesn't seem worried at all.." He thought, still apprehensive about curses after his first mission
Even if Gojo was waiting outside he was still worried
"Okkotsu stop" Himari spoke, outstretching her hand to stop him from walking any further
"Hu—Woah!" Yuta screeched as he nearly fell through the missing floor "That was close...thanks Gotō" he smiled
"Huh? Oh no problem" She nodded, before pointing ahead
"Do you sense that?" She asked "at the very least, a grade two curse is coming our way"
"R-really??" Yuta blinked, his question being answered as a long dragon like curse shot out of the whole and swerved around the two students
"It's huge!" Yuta shrieked, the curse opening its mouth and shooting out a yellow light "Eep!" Yuta shrieked, himaris grabbing onto him and moving out of the way
"What was that?!" Yuta yelled, looking at the whole in the wall
"Pure cursed energy" Himari smiled "I won't let it hit you so you don't have to worry Okkotsu" Himari reassured him "Just stay back and I'll take care of it"
"Gotō are you sure you can deal with it on your own?" He said in a frantic tone
"I'll hel—"
"Of corse I can!" She yelled, taking out her sword which to yutas astonishment and confusion was extremely bendy
