On January third, a date so dear,

Mom's birthday, let's make it clear.

I thought, "Write something sweet," with cheer,

So, with a pen, my feelings appear.

I started collecting words, memories in view,

Not sure why they all came, but it's true.

Weaving memories as words accrue,

A journey down memory lane, so true.

Then I thought, let's turn back the time,

Flip through pages, seek a nostalgic chime.

A peculiar thought in my mind did climb,

Neither happy nor sad, a unique rhyme.

Thinking back to seventeen years,

Not many photos, but no fears,

The memories, though, brought smiles,

Each one telling stories for miles.

Not sure where to start, it's quite weird,

A relation with a bond so revered.

The first connection a child has steered,

With the mother, love engineered.

From a child's first connection,

With a mother's affection,

Then the son, darling of her selection,

And daughters, fathers' pride's reflection.

Yet, the mother-daughter pace,

Always different, a unique space.

How to express, where to begin,

This relationship, so peculiar within?

A bond so complex, a blend of kin,

A connection where emotions spin.

A relationship with anger and love,

Beating and caring, like a dove.

Scolding and praises from above,

Enemies and friendship interwoven.

Shouting and understanding, a pair,

Fear and trust, a blend rare.

Silence and talks in the air,

Fighting and togetherness they share.

In this relationship, noise and peace,

A strange rope binds, a tie that won't cease.

A connection that brings joy and release,

A sweet bond that only seems to increase.

A relationship so strange, yet so dear,

Between a mother and daughter, crystal clear.

With anger and love, drawing near,

A mix of love and moments sincere.

In this journey of contradictions sweet,

A mother and daughter, a duo neat.

Navigating life's rhythm, their heartbeats compete,

A story of love, where memories repeat.

In the canvas of life's colorful art,

Mother and daughter play their part,

With chaos and love from the heart,

This relationship is a masterpiece, a work of art.

So here's to the tie that binds,

A poem simple, where love unwinds.

In this bond, where hearts align,

A mother and daughter, a love divine.
