Mommy say I write a poem
'My darling can do anything'
She give me samar night
'It's a night like this night'
I look at er face. Beautiful face
'Write about what you like to do'
I look in er eyes. Beautiful eyes
'Don't you want to go out?
Take a quiet walk in the moonlight?'
I look at er nose. Beautiful nose
'Don't you want to see uncle moon
And give him a huge kiss on his cheeks?'
I look at er lips. Beautiful lips.
'Or maybe go upstairs & lie down
And count the number of stars.' She smiled
Beautiful teeth, mommy have
She take me in er arms
'What is it that you like to do
On this beautiful summer night?'
'Mommy', I tell, 'I want you'
