Chapter Seven
The Past

"Nozomi please! just one answer!" I asked my best friend

"You're taking advantage of my kindness" She still didn't give in so i started convincing her with Money. She quickly took the money and aggressively gave me her notebook

"The homework is in math not science" I said slamming the notebook back to her desk and snatching the money i gave her, She started scratching her head and started panicking while erasing her notes

"Please ask Sunoo, I need the answers before the teacher comes"

"That's not possible" I told her as i sat back down

"Why not?" She asked

"Were don't talk, Like at all"

"Then i'll ask for the both of us" She said standing from her desk, I stopped her before she could embarrass herself, Instead i went up to his desk and asked him

"Hey Sunoo" I said awkwardly, He looked up and asked what I needed

"Can me and my friend over there" I pointed to her direction and she started waving.

"—Copy your homework" I continued.

"There was HOMEWORK?" he asked screaming the word homework, I nodded and it looked like he started freaking out and started writing down something in his notebook. I turned around and went back to my best friend

"What'd he say?" She happily asked

"He didn't even know"

School finally finished and i was putting all my books away as i was doing that i see a guy start to approach my desk, i look up to see Sunoo, I smile at him and carry my backpack.

I walked past him and start walking to my best friend until he pulled my bag making me almost trip backwards

"What are you doing!" I said

"Let's get some ice cream, My treat" He said letting go off my backpack

"This is weird are you planning something?" I look at him suspiciously

"No! Just an act of kindness" He smirked

"Don't we have a dance club meeting today?" I asked

"Cancelled" He said

"So do you have plans?" He asked

"No she doesn't" Nozomi said, I turn around to face her and i told her to say no but instead she winked at me and pushed me to Sunoo

"Wait Nozomi, Who are you going home with?" I asked

"WITH YEJIN! HAVE FUN, LOVE YOU" She shouted out before leaving me and Sunoo alone in the classroom

"Let's go?" I nodded and left the school building with him

Sunoo gave me the ice cream he ordered and sat down next to me, while eating the ice cream i awkwardly look around the store

"Sunoo"

"Why'd you invite me here? We never speak at all at school" I asked

"You told me about the homework" He smiled, after that question we were quiet again. This is the most awkward thing that happened to me, I wanna go home, NOW

"Excuse me" The girl from the counter said as she brought a big glass of ice cream to us

"Ma'am we didn't order this" Sunoo told the girl

"Oh no sir, This is for free" He tilted his head confused but also happy that we got it for free, The girl set down two spoons, We took the spoon but before we took a bite she told us the reason why.

"You are the hundredth couple to come here so you get this for free"

"Oh really?" I asked and she nodded before leaving

"Uh thank you." We laugh at the situation and finally start a conversation

We finally finished and we headed home since we both couldn't stay outside late, We arrive at my home

"Thank you Sunoo! Stay safe on your way home" I ring the doorbell, My mom opened the door and smiled to see Sunoo standing next to me

"Oh hello Mrs. Cho" He greeted my mom while bowing

"Sunoo! Come eat first before you leave" She invited him in but he politely declined saying he already ate

"But your the kimchi you gave us was good! Thank you again Ma'am" He bowed before leaving

"What a polite boy! If he was your boyfriend i'd allow it"

"Mom!" I push her into the house feeling embarrassed

After today him and i became friends thanks to my bestfriend.
