I long for that hug,
That hug that I never had before;
I long for that kiss,
Those lips that never touched mine before
I long for those eyes,
That glimpse that look me just five times before;
I long for that stare,
That way you looked me with doubt before
I long for that smile,
That smile that was never been for me;
I long for that laugh,
That laugh that was not because of my jokes
I long for that touch,
That right arm that I touched just once before;
I long for that walk,
Those feet that never went towards me before
I long for that red-white stripes,
That shirt that you and your brother have both;
I long for that woman,
"Mom" you so-called her
I long for that balcony,
That place I often steal a look before;
I long for that frozen water,
That ice you gave to my cousin before
I long for that orange bicycle,
That bike I used to ride and passed in front of that house before;
I long for that plaza,
That place where we walked past like strangers before
(We really are though)
I long for that mall,
That ground floor where I stole a look as if I'm stalking you before
(I really am not!);
I long for that foodcourt,
That crowded place where you noticed me but I hid before
I long for that road,
That street where I watched you from aback before;
I long for that shed,
That shed where two pairs of eyes met before
I long for that school,
That bleacher in the gym where you sat opposite from mine before;
I long for that dance,
That twirl I never thought you could before
I long for that mass,
That 3rd mass where I had the chances to find you;
I long for that hand,
Those fingers and palm that I never held during the Lord's Prayer before
I long for that, "Okay ka lang, ading?"
Those four words I heard just once from you before;
I long for that, "Bea"
Those three letters that I wish I will hear from you
more than once in the future
And I still long for you,
You, in my heart and in my prayers;
And I will always long for you,
You, even if you don't long for me
