The flight back was a bumpy one in which Harry had nodded off on Demetria's shoulder. Her arm was asleep under him but she honestly didn't really mind as she saw all of her brothers worries was away with sleep. He was soon awake though and watching as they landed at the burrow. They snuck out of the car and towards the house. Demetria knew there was no possible way they'd get away with this but she figured it was worth a shot. As they snuck into the house they were promptly greeted by Mrs. Weasley who ranted at them before sending them to degnome the garden. She taught Harry the art of grabbing the gnomes by their feet and spinning them around before chucking them over the fence.

An act he was rather good at the be perfectly honest.

"So what do you think about the house elf?" Harry asked Demetria looking up at her.

Demetria went to answer but Fred clapped Harry's boney shoulder and said, "Wouldn't worry too much about it probably Malfoy sending his elf to scare you away from school."

Harry laughed softly but still didn't seem so sure as they walked into breakfast.

Demetria couldn't blame him, there was far too much surrounding this one boy and he was nothing but twelve years old no matter how far beyond his years he was.

They slipped into their spots at the table, Demetria beside Fred and Ron and Harry took the free seat by Ron.

They served themselves before Ginny came downstairs looking for her jumper only to turn a bright shade of red as soon as she saw Harry.

Demetria found it quite humorous, she always found childhood crushes to be that way. So innocent, and the only pain is the fear that they don't like you back. You don't have to deal with the real heart break unless you actually act upon it.

She watched as Mr. Weasley entered and he quickly started shooting off questions at Harry who was about as into answering them as Demetria usually was. Mr.Weasley had an absolute fascination with muggles where as Harry and Demetria who had lived their first years with them found absolutely nothing significant or interesting about them.

They got their letters from the school along with three extra letters for Demetria. One from her mother wishing her luck for this year, she had a feeling she'd be needing it. One from her father wanting to discuss her keeping a close eye on her brother, and one from Cedric asking if her and Harry would like to hang out sometime though at the end he apologized for writing the letter in the first place saying that his dad just wanted a glimpse at the famous Harry Potter.

She didn't know how she felt about showing her brother off to everyone who just wanted to say they'd seen and met him. She eyed Harry for sometime before he noticed and piped up.

"What?" He said.

"Oh Cedric just wanted to know if you and me wanted to hang out, maybe a quiditch game?" Demetria asked.

"Sure." Harry smiled.

When they got up and were walking down to Cedric's clutching brooms in their hands Harry asked, "So are you and Cedric...together?"

"Not exactly, I'm not over him and for some reason he's not over me either so its really just a painfully subject but then again pain for me is very internalized, it doesn't really effect me."

Harry frowned and said, "Internalized just means that your pain isn't showing on the outside. Your obviously still feeling it."

She laughed and said, "How wise."

She ruffled his messy black hair and he looked up at her and whispered, "What do you think it'd be like if my mom and dad were still alive?"

"You'd probably be a happier boy and you'd be with them right now getting ready for school."

"And you?" He asked looking up at me gently.

"I'd be where I am now, nothing would be different." Demetria said.

"You wouldn't want to see mom?" He asked.

"I don't think the things I'd have to say to her would be very suitable." Demetria whispered.

"Well you like your mom now don't you?" He asked.

"Sure but it's complicated."

"How so? She wanted a better life for you."

"Bull shit, she wanted to forget about my dad and what she'd done. She wanted to erase it from memory and the only way to do that was to completely get rid of me. Then she had you two years later, and everything was okay with that."

"Two years can change a lot." Harry said.

"So can a few second and those seconds she took to think of me changed a lot." Demetria said marching towards the clearing where Cedric was sitting on a quidditch trunk, his broom laying across his lap.

"Aye Harry." Cedric said standing up and waving.

Harry shot him a soft smile and Cedric said, "Should be a fair season." Cedric stated trying to make conversation but only got a nod from Harry.

I'm not sure if Harry liked Cedric, I think he was fine with him but I think he was siding with Fred on this no matter how good he was at hiding it.

Honestly I think I'd side with Fred if I weren't me and didn't know how Cedric cared about everyone, he was more than some pretty boy.

We spent the time playing quidditch and me and Harry won and Cedric sighed saying it was rahter unfair if you looked at it.

I wanted to be future captain but the chances looked slim due to the fact that it would require Flint to actually pass his N.E.W.T.'s. And things looked grim.

Cedric already captain and Harry was sure to be captain sometime in the future once Oliver and Angelina Johnson left.

Fred and George were great beaters but Oliver wouldn't leave them the Gryffindor team under any circumstances.
