It was finally the day of the graduation ceremony and Teyana was happy yet nervous at the same time. She was about to go on stage to give a speech as Valedictorian of senior year. Tyranny, Seranya and Haven were happy to see their best friend on stage giving the speech and Deshaun was amazed at how his best friend looked.
"May we please have the valedictorian Teyana Brown come up and give us a few words" the vice President of the school smiled
"Good afternoon everyone,I want to thank the school administration for this wonderful opportunity , Being here at Florida State University has taught me alot in my teenage life and I'm happy to be apart of a wonderful institution , I wish everyone in senior year the best out in the world,it was amazing making new friends and also finding myself through art, thank you everyone" Teyana spoke confidently on stage making everyone stand up and clap their hands.
"I hereby pronounce this year's class of 2023" the vice President smiled widely making everyone throw their graduation caps in the air.
"We did it!!!!" Teyana screamed
"We survived this madafucka" Seranya laughed making everyone laugh with her
"Four years in university and you still ended up single, like girl why didn't you just get together with Deshaun" Tyranny pouted
"We just platonic friends and nothing more or less" Teyana shrugged
"Awoop,here he comes,that's our queue to leave" Haven smiled widely as she dragged Seranya and Tyranny away with her
"Congratulations Yana" Deshaun smiled as he hugged her
"Thank you and congratulations to you too" Teyana smiled as she pulled away
"Ummm so I was thinking,we should ummm" Deshaun stammered nervously
"Deshaun take your time" Teyana blushed
"Would you go out on a date with me tonight?" Deshaun laughed
"Yes I would love to come on a date with you" Teyana smiled making Deshaun hug her and spin her around
"I thought you'd say no" Deshaun laughed nervously
"Why would I , I mean I wouldn't say no " Teyana blushed hiding her face a bit
"Alright,so I'll pick you up at 8 " Deshaun smiled
"Alright,I'll send you the location" Teyana laughed
