My safest place

Dear the one who only appears in my dream,

In the quiet realm of dreams, there you are, waiting for me after days of sweat and tears,

A gentle presence that soothes the ache of longing, drawing near.

Even when I turn back, my vision can still capture you from afar,

A mirage of solace in the night, a guiding light, a distant star.

The one that is standing still, and when I turn back, you start to cheer,

A fleeting moment of joy, a whispered promise, a love sincere.

Relinquished in your embrace, I feel I could cope with all fears,

In the embrace of dreams, where time stands still, and reality disappears.
