Y/n watched as Frieren praised stark about him killing the dragon on his own

"Yippe" Frieren cheered as she ran towards the mountain of treasures that once belonged to the dragon

"She's so cute" Y/n mumbled under his breath as he walked over to the mountain of treasures too where out of the corner of his eyes he found a bottle of sake

"This was most likely offered to a god" Y/n stated observing the bottle that had the word "Safe travels" written on it

"Why?" Fern asked

"I don't know, I guess it's some dumb people's bright idea that if they offer something to someone they most likely made up in their minds it'd guide them to safety and stuffs like that"

"So gods aren't real?" Stark asked

"I really don't know" Y/n answered

"But...this sake must be hundreds of years old maybe even a thousand" Y/n said with a large grin

"Don't drink that, you don't want problems with a god" Frieren warned

"I don't care, I'm not afraid of a god" Y/n said confidently as he popped open the sake

" I warned you" Frieren said looking through a book

"This sake is too good to pass up" Y/n said chugging it down his throat

"Gahhhh woah! this is one fantastic sake, easily one of the best I've ever had" Y/n said

"Why do you even like sake" Fern said taking the drink from him and tossing it aside

"When you often travel alone you'll need something or someone to keep you company in my case sake" Y/n said with a stupid grin before looking around the dragon's treasure a little more, he saw something shiny on the floor which he went to pick up

"What's that?" Frieren asked looking over his shoulder

"N-Nothing" Y/n quickly said stuffing his hand into his robe

"Let me see" Frieren demanded

"I told you it's nothing" Y/n said walking away making Frieren squint her eyes at him

They now arrived at a Town(I forgot the name) where the guards won't let them through

"Guess we're gonna have to split up and find a way"Y/n said walking away

"Where are you even going?" Frieren asked

"Don't know, just gonna walk around a bit" Y/n said as he walked off

"Now where do I find some information" Y/n thought to himself as he walked around

"Y-Y/n"

"Hmmm?" Y/n turned around seeing Frieren

"Let's walk around together"

"Eh???! You want to walk around with me?" Y/n said pointing at himself

"Don't make it sound weird or like I hate you or something"

"Oh okay, so where do you wanna go?"

"Let's visit some magic shops" Frieren grinned

"Sure" Y/n smiled at her

"Come on" Frieren said grabbing his hand and pulling him along with a warm smile on her face

"Just a little more, I think I might like you just a little more Y/n" Frieren thought to herself behind her smile

Y/n was watching Frieren browse through some grimoire happily and it was all he ever wanted to see

"Found one you like?" Y/n asked

"I like them all"

"You seem to be really into magic"

"Yes,can you teach me a little about demon magic?" Frieren asked making Y/n stop

"What's wrong?" Frieren asked

"I'm sorry it nothing, besides I don't think demon magic is the kinda magic you'd want to learn"

"Why not"

"It's uhmmm, you'll see in due time"

"So you'll teach me?"

"Sure"

Y/n and Frieren were currently pressed together inside a barrel, "why?"you might ask that is because after a little while of browsing through magic shops they found out Frieren was  wanted leading to their current situation of them hiding inside a barrel with Frieren being pressed up against Y/n

"Frieren's body is so soft, I-I can't even think straight" Y/n thought to himself nearly passing out from bliss

"Y/n are you okay? Your face is red" Frieren whispered putting her hand on his face he could feel her warm breath due to how close they were

"Y-Yeah I'm fine" Y/n whispered back Frieren's hand were so soft and they were still on his face and her body was still pressed up against him

"At this rate I'll die" Y/n thought as Frieren adjusted a little pressing her body against him more

"Wait I'll check if the coast is clear" Frieren whispered as she opened the lid of the barrel

"Coast is clear" Frieren said getting out of the barrel

"O-okay" Y/n said getting out of the barrel too

"T-that was really dangerous" Y/n thought to himself still feeling lightheaded

"Are you sure you're alright"

"Of course I'm not alright, look what you did to me" Y/n whined in his head

"Y-Yeah I'm fine"

"Good, lets go" Frieren said grabbing Y/n's hand and running off before they heard Fern call out them

"Shhhh" Frieren tried to shush her

"What happened?"

"We're being pursued" Frieren explained

"What did you do" Fern asked looking at Frieren then Y/n who was still slightly red in the face

"D-don't look at me like that, I didn't do anything" Y/n said avoiding Fern's gaze

"We were just browsing through some magic shops" Frieren explained

"Oh no" Y/n sighed seeing a guard stand behind stark

"Look pal I-  Y/n was caught off by the guard bowing and apologizing to Frieren

"I don't like where this is going" Frieren said

"Just take the win" Y/n whispered

"Frieren, I'm truly sorry they didn't know it was you" Some old dude said

"You guys can pass through"

"The remnant of the demon king's forces are causing havoc"

"Okay okay can we just skip to the part where you let us pass through" Y/n said rudely making Fern hit the back of his head with her staff

"Forgive his stupidity" Fern apologized

People were cheering for them as they were passing through the gate, This all didn't matter to Y/n all he cared about right now was what the future held for him and the elf next to him
