PERSONALITY AND CHARACTER ANALYSIS: Zoth K'lar (also known as Zelda Fury) is optimistic and determined despite her situation. She copes by using humor and sarcasm, and she is very confident in herself. Due to her trust issues and her occasional emotional instability, she has trouble reeling herself in. However, she is good at controlling herself, especially if she has help from someone she trusts. She has a gift for dealing with children and she is a fast thinker. She does, however, have a rather idealistic way of thinking, which can be good or bad or both, all depending on the situation. Despite being alive for over sixty years, she has a child-like innocence about her and an unwavering positivity that shines through.

CHARACTER ARC: Zoth K'lar is the result of a forbidden marriage between a Skrull woman and a rogue Kree soldier. During the first invasion of Skrull territory by the Kree army, Zoth's mother was murdered by the Kree and her father took her to Earth, leaving her on someone's doorstep. She grew up being raised by Nicholas Joseph Fury, the director and founder of SHIELD and the Avengers Initiative. They were very close and thought of each other as family, though she only ever referred to him as "Fury." He nicknamed her "Zelda" because she liked the video game "Legend of Zelda" and it became her legal human name. She started being bullied elementary school and asked Fury to enroll her in Martial Arts classes when she was in middle school. He offered to train her himself instead. It wasn't until she turned sixteen years old that she discovered she had special abilities, which was a shock to Fury but nothing he hadn't dealt with before. She was terrified, but he sat her down and talked her through it, and told her that she should be proud of herself no matter what she looked like or where she was from. This made her start to question her heritage and who her parents were. On her eighteenth birthday, she figured out that Fury was not her real father. Devastated, she ran away from home and met Carol Danvers, who was also having her own identity crisis. They teamed up, helped each other, and Carol helped her patch things up with Fury. Upon teaming up with Carol, Zoth met the Kree and the Skrulls, and realized the history between them when she went to space to help Carol save the Skrulls from invasion. There, she was also reunited with her father and ultimately decided to stay with him, becoming an honorary diplomat for during the Kree-Skrull war. During her time on the Skrull planet, Zoth realized that she wanted to be a teacher to teach accurate social studies, and she could only do that if she went to college on Earth, which she did, in the year of 2012. By the time she earned her degree and started teaching, she was in her twenties. During this time, she also met a doctor named Bruce Banner, who was a guest speaker for one of her classes. They formed an instant connection and eventually opened up to each other about their secret identities, but they never pursued a relationship until the year 2023. Now, they are happily married with a son, but Zoth lives in hiding due to the government's hateful and racist policy on aliens. She is an ally to the Avengers and mostly works behind the scenes and occasionally with Bruce's cousin, Jennifer Walters also known as She-Hulk. However, Zoth has a disguise and an alias for when she needs to go out into the battle field. In 2025, she reunited with a young mutant named Sarab Zaman, who she saved years earlier, and is now her mentor as well as Social Studies teacher.
