Hey, Y'all! I received a message around Thanksgiving from someone who wanted to know how I drew Windblade/Celestia Prime, so I figured I would post the in-progress pics showing how I did it. because I don't have the picture of the basic framework (I never took said pic, unfortunately) I am using an in-progress base form pic of Junebug (who is unfinished and thus not posted in the book) to show you the first thing I usually do.

This is dedicated to StarfallPrime1112 :)

The base picture for how I was doing Junebug, but gives a good idea on how I get the desired position for the picture

First photo I took of the progress of Windblade. You can kind of see how although the basics are there, I did fill in a bit. the line down her torso and abdomen is the Center Line, letting me know exactly where the middle of her is so I could get the angled proportions right. I also knew I wanted her to hold a sword, so I put a randomized sketch there.

Here we start to see more of her form coming through. I had looked up a few images online, and found a Transformers Prime version of Elita-One that I used as inspiration for the design on her legs. you can see I erased the optics  (eyes) in order to focus less on that and more on the body, and there are circles where I have the idea for Shoulder pads.

I've now started on building more of the armor of the chest, and designed the face a bit, along with her right hand.

I know its a lot of large jumps, but its rather difficult with how I took the pictures, which originally were just for showing a friend the progress on my 'Masterpiece'. In this photo, I've finished designing the head and midsection, adding the 'wing' to her back and refining her foot.

Yes, low quality photo, can't remember what I happened to be doing, but at this point i've gotten one shoulder done, finished the arm design, done the second 'wing', duplicated the leg, and started the sword.

here we have the complete, although messy, photo!  I attempted to get rid of a lot of the pencil smudge marks, and there's still a few messy framing marks here and there, but I erased those as I colored the photo. The font on the right side was done by pulling it up in OneNote, making it ridiculously large AND zooming in on it, then tracing the basic shape of its outline to fill in the thicker parts once I was no longer holding the paper up to my laptop.
