I bounced my leg up and down as we were waiting for Sani to get into court so the trial could start.
"Where is sheee?? What's taking so long?" I said getting more anxious
"You on yo period???" Mari asked me
"Bitch I have a dick. I don't have a vagina." I spat out getting mad
"Okay Jamal dont pull out the 9" she said tryna be funny
"O'Mari that's enough." My mom told her
I cut my eyes at her and started her down still she sunk back into her chair.
"All rise." The judge said as the doors open
We stood and I saw Sani walking in. To say she had been locked up she looked good asf.
She sat down with her lawyer and turned around blowing me a quick kiss. I caught it and blew one back. She smiled at me then caught it before turning around.
"In the case of Avery vs the Bundles family you have been found guilty of the murder of 45 year old Willow Bundles. How do you plead?" The judge said
"Not guilty." Sani said then her lawyer took over
"There's no clear evidence that my client is responsible for this murder. Simply wrong place wrong time." Her lawyer said
I hoped they would believe this. I squeezed my mom's hand as they continued to talk.
"Well?" The judge said looking over to the lawyer against us
"W-well umm your honor there's video footage of her following the victim into the alleyway"
"Just because she was following her doesn't mean she killed her. Is there footage of my client doing anything else?"
"No..the footage cuts out right after that." The other lawyer mumbled
The judge sighed and looked at a few papers.
"Well it seems here Miss Avery suffers from a second personality disorder, anxiety and long term memory lost." The judge read
"Are you taking your medication dear?" She continued
Sani shook her head no softly. The judge shook her head in disapproval and went quiet for a moment.
I felt my eyes starting to a sting indicating I was about to start crying. My heart started beating faster than normal and my leg started bouncing like crazy.
"Hm okay well here's my verdict. We get you on your meds and we steer clear of dark alleys from now on" the judge said winking at Sani
She smiled at her and nodded.
"Case dismissed." She said then left
I jumped up in joy, they uncuffed Sani and she came running towards me. We engulfed each other in a big hug.
We enjoyed this moment till someone came in screaming.
"I KNOW YOU KILLED MY NIECE" this lady came screaming
We looked back and it was this older lady sobbing her eyes out while a girl was holding her back.
Sani looked at the girl shocked as if she knew her.
"wtf.." she mumbled

"How'd you get out??" I asked looking at the girl holding back who I assumed was Willow's aunt
"Huh? Oh you must be thinking about my twin" she said smiling evilly
"Oh really?" I said before I smiled back at her which made hers turn into a frown
They turned around and left.
"Cmon we needa get your stuff" Ash said
I have Zay a quick kiss and went back with Ash. After I got back into the jail I went straight to Yoshi.
"I need you to do something for me then I got ya bail." I said
"Wsp love?" She said smiling
I nodded towards my roomie and she understood. She whistled and a bunch of people looked at her before she pointed to Ki'Miya.
They all chuckled before going up to her and that's when a fight broke out.
"Avery let's go!!" Ash yelled
"I love you chic! See you in a few" I said to Yoshi before leaving
