Authors POV

Anna is continuously screaming to her parents to stop fighting but they are cursing and abusing each other. Its a normal routine for her to see her parents abusing each other and she is used to it now , but everytime when they fight she always tries to save her mom and wants to protect her but her father pushes her away . Today they are fighting because her father said to her mom that its because of her Anna didn't scored well in exams and her mother said that it's the best she can do. On the other hand Anna feels so vulnerable to even cry because even after scoring 95 in finals her father is not happy and wants her to become the number 1 but her mother is always on her side but how long she can protect her.

Anna mom : I'M TELLING YOU WHATEVER YOU ARE DOING IS NOT RIGHT SHE IS OUR ...... ONLY DAUGHTER HOW CAN YOU SAY THIS TO HER

Her dad: SHUT UP ! YOU BETTER SHUT YOUR MOUTH BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING STAY AWAY FROM OUR MATTER

She looks at his father and wants to see a slight reflection of a dad in him but there is nothing like that except anger and disgust for her at this point she is not even crying but internally her heart is not even beating she is drinking her own tears and starts to feel pain in her throat and with this she scremed. She can't take this anymore and she screamed his parents looks at her and his father came to her and slapped hard on her face and yelled

HOW DARE YOU SCREME IN FRONT OF YOUR FATHER !??

She looked in his father's eyes with tears and she knew that this time might his father killed her or something. Her father is a type of human if someone hurts his ego then he don't care who the person infront of him he will definitely ruin that person.

Anna POV

The last thing I remember before I start feeling unconscious was that my father slapped on my face and my mother tries to stop him but he pushed her on floor and then he drag me by my hair and took a bat and hang it in air to beat me but mama came in between.

Liaba : STOP STOP STOP IT PLEASE STOP IT WHAT ARE YOU DOING ...... SHE IS JUST 17 STOP IT ......... she tries her level best to stop her husband but he is too angry and wants to just punish her

Sufian : TODAY I WILL TELL YOU WHAT THE GIRLS LIKE YOU GET AFTER SCREMING INFRONT OF THEIR FATHER.

Anna looked at his father for the one last time before passing out.

Liaba: My DAUGHTER ...... GET AWAY SUFIAN GET AWAY JUST GET AWAY.

Sufian look at Anna and Liaba and throw the bat aside and leaves the room before saying : " like mother like daughter".

Liaba POV

I saw Anna unconscious on floor and at that point I just want to kill him or us so that this pain can end. I went to my daughter and put her on my shoulder and take her to bed. I touched her face where still finger prints of Sufian is visible. Her body is burning in high fever I immediately went to kitchen and put water in a pot and take handkerchief and return to room. She cleaned her face and put the wet cloth on her forehead. She is not able to see her daughter in this state but she can't do anything except prayer. Anna looks so weak and pale. Liaba remove the cloth from her forehead and again put it and let her fever go down. She holds her hand and kissed her knuckles and said :

" forgive your mother she can't do anything for you my precious daughter you are doing great and your mama is proud of you I'm so sorry my little baby I'm just sorry ...... I can't give you a dream childhood and I even ruined your teen life I'm sorry ",
