Bukola's pov
I started making food for him mixing up the ingredients when Zahra decided it was a good time for her to pop in with her cries
Dario who was sitting on the bed carried her and she started giggling as he placed kisses on her nose
"who's a cute girl? You are... Yes you are" she broke out in a series of giggles and I suddenly felt jealous at the sight
Food for Dario doesn't usually take that long so I was almost done anyway
Taking the apron off I washed my hands taking Zahra away from him to feed her
"I'll tell you when to switch it off" I said and he smiled nodding and I placed Zahra on my lap to feed her and she quickly received her meal
Both father and daughter are hungry babies and it's just something Zahra took after him
"play switch it off and serve for yourself" I said and he smiled putting his food in the plate and just like that the rain started
Oh good... Just great..
I looked at Zahra as she wrapped her small hand on my finger the interest to drink milk lessening and I gasped when she moved away from it whining
It's always like this with the rain
Dario stood leaning on the counter as we had no extra chairs or a couch for that matter as he ate his food looking at me
When I made eye contact with him I imagine the most dirtiest things ever... I imagined him squeezing and sucking on my boobs harshly
I quickly looked away
"the weather.... It's bad" I said and he chuckled "I know that... I can hear it's pouring out there" he said and I looked back at Zahra putting my breast back inside my bra
I opened the window and put my hands outside as he watched me still eating his meal and when I pulled back I gasped
"ice?" I gasped
"it's rewinding ice out there... Exactly how are you supposed to go" I asked and he smiled "I'll call the driver" he said and I closed the window looking at him and he smiled as he finished my food.
"delicious... Just like how I remember it... Your food is very tasty princess" he groaned and I looked away... Him and his compliments
He called his driver who said he couldn't come pick him up because there was road blocks due to the weather and I sighed
"you can sleep here....no funny business" I told him and he nodded as I took out the extra blankets that I had with me
He took out his suit jacket and pants leaving him in some boxers and shorts
We all settled in the blankets and I was still cold Zahra was between us and she had no plans to sleep anytime soon
While Zahra and Dario seemed to be warm enough I wasn't
"princess are you cold?" he asked and I shook my head... He knew very well that I get cold very easily so he couldn't ask such things
I turned and tried sleeping but it was no use as I started shaking and trembling due to the weather and he groaned
Carrying Zahra with one hand I gasped when he pulled me to him causing me to gasp
But damn he was warm..
Placing Zahra where I was before he wrapped his arms around me and I instantly melted
"don't panic princess.. We've slept like this so many times" he whispered sending vibrations in my system and I smiled softly as I slowly was drifting into a deep sleep
I said it
Dario is the best man that I know
Not like if ever get back with him or anything
