Alyssa Pov

Traveling up is not too bad, it only gets tricky when you get to the point where you have to slide to get to the next wall.

"So Alyssa, tell me about your son" Buck asks me and I wish he did not bring that up in front of Eddie.

"Well he Seven, he love superhero's, he loves spending time outside. We will spend hours outside reading or having a picnic. He has cp but he prefect just the way he is" I say

"Awww, he sound wonderful" Buck says and you can tell by his tone that he is smiling

"He is, he really is! When all of this is cleared and better maybe you can meet him" I say to him

"I would love too" Buck says happy

"What about me" Eddie asks

"You too Eddie" I say but I really don't want him to meet my son.

"You said his father isn't in the picture, what happened?" Eddie asks, great how do I tell them that my new coworker left me for another girl to them when the coworker is literally Eddie

"Umm he doesn't know" I say nervous

"Wait he doesn't know that he has a son" Buck says

"Yup, he left me for another girl 2 weeks before I found out I was pregnant. I left him a letter and ultrasound picture in his mailbox before I left. He hasn't contacted me so I guess he doesn't care" I say sadly. It's literally all true. A couple hours before I left, I left a envelope with a letter and ultrasound picture in it for Eddie. He either never cared or never got it.

"Wow, who ever that guy is an ass. Who would do that? Not even care? That's messed up. If you ever see him again, call me! I'll beat his ass" Buck says get protective of me! Buck has always had a protective side when it comes to me, like a sibling protective.

"Thanks Buck" I say wit a giggle

"Yeah that guy is really an ass" Eddie says you can tell his mind is wandering.

"We're almost there" Eddie says as we  have 4 move floors to go.

The rest of the way up was quiet, mostly cause we were trying to go up without falling. When we make it to the floor, Eddie opens the door, we all look at where we have to go. It's a medium size jump, it might hurt depending on how much force we do but will be fine

"So how are we going to do this" Buck ask confused

"Like this" I say letting myself go to the other wall that is on a majors slant. The higher we went, the worst it got. I hear Eddie giggle a little from the door. A couple seconds after I get myself balanced I hear Eddie and then Buck come to the wall.

"Watch your step" I say to the boys as I start making my way down the hall.

"Hello" Eddie calls as we walk since we don't know what room number they're in but all we know is that they're on this floor.

"Hello LAFD" Eddie yells and then we start hearing voices come through a door. We found it!

"This one here" I say and the boys get ready to open the door

Once we get the door open we realize there's another person in the room. This is gonna be hard but I know we can do this. One wrong move and we go right to the glass. I'm really hoping after shock does not happen or else is going to be really really bad.

I hand my rope to Buck that is tied around my waist and I slowly make my way towards the counter that is built into the ground that I know will not go sliding.

"Whoa, whoa, ma'am. I need you to just sit tight I will come to you" I say. Eddie starts making his way towards the guy while Buck holds his rope. I slowly make my way to the girl, Buck throws me an extra rope and I help the girl get secured to it. You might think he has too many ropes but we're trying to have a lot! We all start to hear this cracking sound and then Eddie tells the guy not to move, the glass is starting to crack. This is not gonna end well. I keep my focus on the girl while Eddie works on getting the guy.

When the rope is secure on the girl I look at Buck and give him a nod which means I'm ready for him to start pulling her up. He starts pulling her up to where he is. I stay behind her in case some thing happens.

But at the worst time possible the aftershock happens! F*ck! Why now?

"Aftershock! Aftershock!" Buck yells tightening his grips on the ropes. Next thing I know I hear some thing shatter and the guy and the furniture that was pushed behind him goes flying out the window. Oh god. Just as everything starts settling back I feel less weight around my waist and I realize my rope is coming untied. Oh no!

A/N:
