Basically Dazai and Chuuya are divorced. I don't really ship kunidazai or Kajii x Chuuya but as I said before I do want write this story.
This story isn't written like a diary but more like Akutagawas inner dialogue and thoughts. No specific dates just months. All photos are from Pinterest and are not mine. 💕 Also I do ship sskk but there kinda siblings in this so I'm gonna go with some good ol tachiaku.

Run down on characters

Akutagawa - He's fourteen and a sophomore in high school. He's a honors kid in art and is very quiet. He doesn't hang out with a lot of kids at school just Gin (for story purposes they aren't siblings in this their cousins) Tachihara and Higuchi.  Although adopted by Chuuya and Dazai (knows his birth-mom) Prefers to be at his dads/Chuuyas house. Is a really good race car driver.

Atsushi - A freshman in high school. He's a B student and enjoys track and tennis. He's a popular nice guy and mainly hangs out with Tanizaki, Naomi, Ranpo and Yosano. He's adopted by Kunikida and Dazai.

Kyouka - An 8th grader in middle school. She's a A and B honor roll student. She enjoys dance and theater while being a quiet but popular kid. Her best friend is kenji. She's adopted by kunikida and Dazai.

Chuuya - Is referred to as dad. He works for a very popular modeling company, he is very rich. He's very chill and loves to hangout with Akutagawa.

Dazai - Is referred to as Father or sometimes Papa. He works as a literary teacher at a private school. He loves all his kids but views Akutagawa as Chuuya son and not really his own.

Kajii - Is referred to as jiji and is the only person Akutagawa has a nickname for. He works for the government military scientist unit.
He loves Akutagawa and views him as his son. (Although Akutagawa bullies him he does cherish him deeply)

Kunikida - is referred to as sir or Mr. Kunikida. He works as a math teacher at the community college. Although money is a little tight he loves all his kids. Him and Akutagawa get along but he hopes they get a little closer, but is scared Akutagawa doesn't like him.

Gin - Akutagawa cousin. Varsity freshman vb player. I think should would make a great outside. Honestly straight A student but couldn't care less. Goth but quiet and well know but not popular. Higuchi and her are gfs.

Tachihara - Akutagawas love interest 😍😍. Not goth but more of turned down punk. (If that makes sense) C's all the way. Is adopted by Jouno and Techo while having Teruko as an older sister. Freshman marching band, saxophone and trumpet.

I probably will add more as the characters become relevant.
