One day, he was meant to collect the pieces of the Crown of Karsus when he encountered the Dead Three's Chosen and was probed. Bhaal, seeing an opportunity to seize power over Tyr, polluted Heyres' divinity, inadvertently making him into a Bhaalspawn. Heyres was cast from the Astral Plane and was forced to crawl his way back to his divinity.

Backstory: Shujinn has three people living in his head. Djinn was a goddess of war eons ago, but she was ruthlessly killed by the Dead Three. As a last-resort option to live, she shot off a piece of her own divinity into the planes, eventually landing on Elturel. Nox was a young hermit, a person who just wanted to immerse themselves in their inventions. He came across an odd stone which put Djinn into his head. Djinn took over his body multiple times and, filled with an undying anger, often went on rampages. Over time, Nox became more isolated from society in order to protect others from himself. Shu was created when Nox was abducted onto the nautiloid, the pure pain from the parasite crawling into their brain that it fissured Nox's conscious. Nox retained all his memories but lost control over the body. Shu was technically "birthed" in that moment by Bhaal, but he had no memory. Thus, began the three's journey to redemption.

Backstory: Born in Lolth-sworn society, Nameless was born rather strong for a male. Nobody knew that he was a son of Bhaal. He was supposed to be euthanized, but the women around him pitied him and tried to raise him to be a docile little man. They succeeded partially, but not fully because Nameless had an aptitude for fighting. He was eventually abducted by the nautiloid and turned into a thrall.
