I had spent my entire time in high-school planning how my senior year would go.

Yet what I didn't plan was my parents deciding to move just as senior year hit.

My dad's work required him to move, and him and my mom were worried about how it'd affect me.

Leaving all my friends behind, the memories, the people, who I didn't reaaally like at all, but were so familiar that their annoyance was almost comforting to me.

I have to admit, my eyes were sore from all the crying. It was scary, being on my own.

I wasn't popular at my old school, thank God, but I had just enough friends that helped me survive up till this point.

I tried to distract myself by helping carrying the boxes into the empty house.

The thoughts kept whirring through my head about my new school, about the new people, would I be liked? Who would I like?

I walked back to the car, twirling my earphone wires between my fingers.

"Hey! Watch it!"

I looked up to see my dad waving a rolled up newspaper whilst yelling at a white van with graffiti scrawled on the side of it.

"Löded diper." I read. "Hm."
