1: That feedees/gainers will become bed bound and die of obesity related problems. Well some feedees or gainers do wish to become bed bound or on the brink of it, most only gain about 100 ibs. The most common weight goal for a feedee or gainer to reach is about 200-250 ibs. It usually serves a bench mark for most gainers or feedees as you cross the line from being chubby to fat/obese, but not grossly obese.
2: Feederism is unhealthy. Well it is true being overweight comes with the negatives of a few health problems, they're not that common unless you become extremely obese, like 400+ ibs obese. As I mentioned on the last misconception, most feedees/gainers would rather only be chubby or overweight, not bed bound. But yes, a few of the people in our community do wish to become unhealthily obese or bed bound, but that's a very small number compared to the majority of people only wishing to gain a bit.
3: Feederism is cruel. This is false for 99% of our community. Most feeders are very caring for they're feedee or s/o, and if they don't want to gain weight, they won't make them. Feeders will only fatten the feedee up as much they want to be fattened up, as they will most likely want to stay in a long relationship with the feedee. Sadly, there is a very small community of feeders who will fatten up they're s/o without consent, but this is just a very small speck of feeders and we should not be judged off they're actions.
There are many more misconceptions but these are the main ones. If you think I left out a main one please tell me.
